What are Bullshit Monsters®?

Bullshit Monsters® is a card deck consisting of 65 cards and a 148-page pocket-sized booklet. Each card depicts a “Bullshit Monster”, which stands for a business fear, worry, resistance, hidden pattern of self-sabotage or outdated notion of what good work should look like. The card deck offers a creative way to identify and eliminate the 64 science-based mental booby traps on the road to success, providing for hilarious and insightful self-analysis.

Who are they for?

The cards are made for entrepreneurs, leaders and creatives, people who’s ability to show up in business depends on their ability to detect their own sneaky patterns of self-sabotage, avoidance or everybody’s favourite, perfectionism.

How do you use them?

You can use the cards for yourself by pulling one or looking up a symptom you are experiencing to see which monster could be causing it, or, you can use the card within your team. Each Bullshit Monster contains a description of its effect on individuals as well as teams with easy, applicable exercises to try, whether as a fun kick-off to your meeting or a way to playfully get to know each other and openly speak about the patterns that may be holding you back.
